Project management in a competitive environment: interdicting a CPM based project and its implications

There are two opponents in a classic network interdiction problem, owner/defender and interdictor/attacker. Each side has enough information about the other’s possible courses of action. While user wishes to run an optimal way, attacker with limited resources tries prevent operation by interdicting arcs/nodes network. In this study, we investigate project management competitive environment using approach. We assume that owner/manager strives minimize completion time Critical Path Method (CPM) based while opponent attempts maximize minimum inflicting some delays on activities available resources. Considering both discrete continuous delay times, develop bi-level mixed-integer programming models for interdictor.
